wscff responsive website

WSCFF Public Website

Year completed:

Consulting, art direction, information architecture, design, development.

The Challenge:

Create a public facing site that will engage and educate the public about what union fire fighters do and how they serve their communities. Figure out a way to allow 120 + Union Locals to maintain profile pages and upload article and event content, while making sure WSCFF admins can control the flow of content.

The Solution:

A unique website that lets the public find their Local Union firefighters and their stories through interactive maps. This WordPress site also sets the roles and responsibilities for both locals and super admins. Other areas of the site include FAQs, How to become a WA fire fighter, history, legislative efforts, and an interactive section that explains what unions are why they are important.
